Athens Gyro
Trader Gus Shell Gas Station

Owned and operated by Gus Kyriakopoulos, formerly of State Street's Parthenon, Athens Gyro is cozily tucked into a Shell gasoline station on Hwy M, near the Hwy 113 intersection. Venture inside beyond the pumps, and you'll find a lot more than fuel on offer. A compact menu presents Mediterranean delicacies ranging from classic, overstuffed gyros to plump and tasty spinach pies and is augmented by an unexpectedly varied and excellent selection of Greek groceries. It's hard to confirm this kind of thing, but we suspect Trader Gus Shell may be the greatest gas station in the history of the universe.
